Joe Slevin taught history and was Head of Sixth Form at a large secondary school in Berkshire, England for many years. He retired from teaching in 2012 after nearly 40 years working with children aged 11-18.
Joe now concentrates on helping parents and schools to improve children’s mindset for learning. He delivers parent workshops in schools. He also trains teachers to work more effectively with parents and pupils on ‘learning attitudes’. Joe still works with children aged 8 – 16 as a supply/substitute teacher in primary and secondary schools.
In 2012 Joe, with Jon Lockhart and Sam Dibas, started Learning Solutions Innovation Ltd. In 2013 ‘Succeed at Secondary’ was published and in 2014 the parent workshops began. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Jon is an artist and teacher with a Masters degree in Fine Art who has taught in secondary schools for many years. Jon uses his creative background and art training to create diverse student and staff training. He is working on a PhD in emergent technology for education at The University of Reading.
Sam has a degree in Electrical Engineering and is an international telecommunications professional. He has been coaching young engineers for over 20 years. Email: email@example.com
